Glendalough IrelandWicklow; a land blessed with an ambiance of wonderful countryside.
Geological evolution over millions of years has arranged this landscape in such a way that today it is now an area of outstanding natural beauty and a perfect place for a day's adventure.
Located within this paradise; in addition to the superb scenery and great walks, is a wide array of wildlife flora and fauna.

The Walks:
All of our walks take place at a very relaxed pace and the trails are carefully selected to give you the maximum enjoyment out of the day. The distance travelled each day will vary on the day as walks are changed daily. All the trails are chosen in a way that they can be extended or shortened.
On an average day you will cover a distance of between 10 to 12 Kilometres's; with a moderate Walking tour wicklow irelandascent.
Most walks start or finish in the charming and romantic valley of Glendalough. We will visit its world famous Monastic Settlement; the ruined churches; decorated crosses and majestic round tower. This early Christian settlement was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century as a place of learning.
Glendalough is also home to two beautiful lakes; giving Glendalough its Gaelic name "Glen Dá Lough" The Valley of The Two Lakes.
Some of our trails will follow part of the Wicklow Way; Ireland's oldest waymarked trail. All trails will at some point lead you up into the mountains; where you will be rewarded with some outstanding views of the countryside.

You're Adventure begins here:
We will pick you up sometime between 8.30 and 9.15 in ireland adventure holidayDublin; or along the way between there and Wicklow; the time will be decided between yourself and us at the time of booking.
The drive down to Wicklow takes approximately 1hr; depending on traffic and where exactly our walk starts. Returning you back in the evening invigorated and energized by your day's adventure sometime between 5.30 and 6pm.
