My son,Jamie, and I had a wonderful trip, thanks to you all. The weather turned out perfect for hiking. A little bit of luck there! Not too hot, not too cold, not that much rain. The Wicklow Way is a great trail. The B& B's all were wonderful. Great hospitality! Lovely people. Met a number of people on the trail ,and was amazed at the number of them that asked us about our Appalachian Trail (AT) here in the States. Great trail, a little long, 2000 miles. But your Wicklow Way was perfect for us. Give Teresa our best and thank her for her help.

Dear Christopher, We are now back home in Canada and if all has gone well, you have received your cellphone in the mail. Let me take this opportunity to offer a very sincere thankyou for all you did to make our whole visit to Ireland enjoyable.The Western way was memorable forthe walk, the accommodation and the way it introduced us to the wonderful people we were about to meet and also how to make the most of the rest of our time. Our car rental week gave us time for a pretty good look at the SW, South, and Dublin as well as a day at Newgrange. We then found our own way from Marlay Park to Tinahaley . As you said, it was quite a differet walk from Western Way. As expected, our weather was mixedbut the whole trip was a fitting climax to our vacation.....and having a cell phone was invaluable, given the need for lifts to and from trail.

Hello Christopher & Teresa,

The good news, and it is very good, is that I had a fantastic time overall. I've never been to the west of Ireland before, and it was everything I had expected and more. The landscape is spectacular and the solitude on the hills is great and just what I needed. The people I met were all lovely, all your landladies were gorgeous, I couldn't fault any of them. I also really enjoyed the Pass Inn and got on well with Stuart there. The Guinness was pretty good too. Saturday at Kylemore Abbey was glorious in the sunshine. And the practicalities all went without a hitch, with my bag there ahead of me every night, so no complaints at all on that score.

weather - and with our guides!!    You were both wonderful guides and 
Wicklow was at its best with the trees coming into bud and the lambs
