people through some of the most memorable scenery in Ireland. Through broadleaf
forests; over heather clad hills; by scenic remote valleys and lakes you will

Wicklow;
a land blessed with an ambiance of wonderfulcountryside.
Geological evolution
over millions of years has arranged this landscape in such a way that today it
is now an area ofoutstanding natural beauty and a perfect place for a day's adventure.
Located
within this paradise; in addition to the superb scenery and great walks, is a
wide array of wildlife flora and fauna.
The
Walks:
All of our walks take place at a very
relaxed pace and the trails are carefully selected to give you the maximum
enjoyment out of the day. The distance travelled each day will vary on the day
as walks are changed daily. All the trails are chosen in a way that they can be extended or shortened.
On an average day you will cover a distance of
between 10 to 12 Kilometres's; with a moderateascent.
Most walks start or finish in the charming andromantic valley of Glendalough.
We will visit its world famous Monastic Settlement; the ruined churches; decorated
crosses and majestic round tower. This early Christian settlement was founded
by St. Kevin in the 6th century as a place of learning.
Glendalough is also
home to two beautiful lakes; giving Glendalough its Gaelic name "Glen Dá
Lough" The Valley of The Two Lakes.
Some of our trails will follow part
of the Wicklow Way; Ireland's oldest waymarked trail. All trails will at some
point lead you up into the mountains; where you will be rewarded with some outstanding
views of the countryside.
